Getting Here (or rather, There)
Crag Rat Hut is about an hour east of Portland International Airport, in Hood River Oregon. If you are visiting from out of town, a rental car is recommended for convenient travel towards The Gorge! It’s a pretty easy jaunt via 84 East. Just make sure you have some tunes queued up for the trip! Parking is available at the venue, however we are not permitted to leave vehicles at the venue overnight. Please plan accordingly!

Lodging
Hood River
Hood River and the surrounding area is home to a plethora of Vrbo and AirBnb locations. Demand may be somewhat high due to the Harvest Festival occurring the same weekend as our wedding, but by and large a reasonable accommodation can be found. The towns of Odell, Dee, and Parkdale also have a few lodging options.
Hotels are also available in town, but none are offering room blocks due to the festival.
If you stay in White Salmon, or any place north of the Columbia River, there is a toll bridge connecting Oregon to Washington State. The toll rate is $3.50 each direction.

Cascade Locks
Cascade Locks is about 30 minutes West of the venue, and has a several AirBnB/Hotel offerings as well. Passage to Washington State can be taken via the Bridge of the Gods. The toll rate is $3 each way.
Government Camp
At about 45 minutes from the venue, Government Camp and the surrounding area may be a bit of a stretch. That said, it is a beautiful scenic location all year round. Cellular reception may be dodgy, even for major carriers on the highway north to Hood River, but the drive is beautiful; bestowing a wonderful view of Mt Hood’s Eastern face (when the dense forest allows).
Portland/Gresham/Troutdale
These areas are most convenient in terms of proximity to the airport. Portland is Oregon’s largest city, and offers countless options of dining, lodging, and recreational activities.
